Is there such thing as "Node prediction?"

Is there a method for "node prediction"? My intent is to train a model on star graphs, then input the center node and the output would be a 1 or a 0 as to whether it has a node, multiple nodes or no nodes and it's corresponding features matrix. I know there is node classification, but that seems to be already knowing that a node IS present.
