Can you change the text in a specified position into an image?

For example, use page.add_redact_annot to become blank and then add an image?

Using redaction annotations, you can remove text resulting in an empty rectangle.
Then you can insert whatever into that rectangle - for example an image.
But as well new text using any font you like.
