OK, Below is my problem description:
I have a C++ source project, and I want to generate python API for it. So I use pybind11 to bind it. Typically I follow this tutorial: https://github.com/pybind/cmake_example/blob/master/setup.py to write a setup.py with a little difference: I add a
super()
call inbuild_ext
derived class:But when I add this line
super().build_extension(ext)
, there is compiling error when I runpython setup.py sdist bdist_wheel
:When I remove this line, everything seems good. Am I wrong to call this
super()
