uv2nix and workspaces containing pyo3 extension modules

Does uv2nix already support or intend to support workspaces containing pyo3 extension modules among their packages?

I didn't see something relevant among the existing fixtures or templates

I would imagine the answer is approximately to support whatever uv supports, but I might not understand some nuance in that concept.

Fwiw, my question derives from my intention to include pyo3 extension modules among the example packages in https://github.com/sciexp/python-nix-template . Its layout is approximately equivalent to https://github.com/pyproject-nix/uv2nix/tree/61f6313f438656b57e653b96301fce14a7eed82e/lib/fixtures/workspace-flat .
