Weird Plausible Data

Currently none of the plausible data matches what is displayed on their site.

In the current file there is no time period. I tested with several and it is always off by over a thousand.

What data is the url returning?

You can debug by downloading the ZIP file available under the download/export button in the upper right corner. We are using export documented here: https://plausible.io/docs/export-stats

No period specified means "All time", at least that my checks showed at the time of implementation.

Currently for ja it displays ~145,000. All time is ~1,200,000 this still does not explain where the data comes from.

Note that for the export to be as quick as possible, the individual CSV files are limited to 300 entries each

This is fragment from export docs. Though we don't hit the 300 rows limit yet.

We may need to reach out to Plausible support/community to figure it out.

The CSV content manually downloaded sums to ~1,2 million. It looks like by default the export covers last 30 days.
