opencv installation fails for python3.9

I am trying to poetry add opencv-python on a py39 environment, but I get the error bellow. I works fine for a 3.8 environment and also works fine if I activate poetry 3.9 env and then do a pip install opencv-python.

Any idea of why it is trying to install a package with an invalid hash?

Failed to add packages, reverting the pyproject.toml file to its original content.

Wondering if it's not your PyPI cache that is poisoned.

The question is quite old, so this may not be relevant anymore, but just in case, what I would have tried:

poetry cache clear PyPI --all

then retry.

Read that thread for the solution on removing a halfway downloaded wheel from the cache.
