I think it should be without having to carry the *module_globals* around indefinitely. instead of without having to carry the module globals around indefinitely. (or am I wrong?) I have this problem when @mattwang44 and I are translating this doc, and we are both confused about this one. Not quite sure of the change.

Yes, I mean maybe the ** are missing here. I don't think moudle globals make sense unless it means the moudle_globals attr which should be quoted by ** like the former one.

I do not see an issue with the current documentation.

The reference to module globals at the end of the paragraph is talking about what the parameter represents rather than the parameter itself, therefore shouldn't be surrounded by asterisks.

The current documentation is consistent with other examples. Further up the page in the documentation for getline, the word filename is used in the documentation for both the parameter itself (surrounded with asterisks) as well as for what the parameter represents (without asterisks)
