Having issues with installation of this version on a windows server 2022 standard machine, removed old installations, environment variables over, removed any old files I could find in %AppData%/program files/user profile/C drive and this version refused to install without reverting near the end. I tried the same version twice with different downloads and neither worked - although the newer 3.13.7 went through without any issue. Sorry if this is not much help, did not know what to include fully, first reported bug!

Could you describe what actually happens when the installation fails, and let us know which version you were trying to install, and how do you install it (like using the .exe installer from https://www.python.org/)?

I don't think there is anything for us to do if this has been fixed.

The thing to include are all the python*.log files in your %TEMP% directory (bearing in mind that they may include personal information, such as usernames).
