Whether writing "Y" or "N", it jumps to the browser and cannot end the conversation or enable the reception of new commands

Usage:
py
Launch the default runtime with specified options. This
is the equivalent of the python command.
py -V: Launch runtime identified by , which should
include the company name if not PythonCore. Regular
Python options may follow this option.
py -3 Equivalent to -V:PythonCore\3. The version
must begin with the digit 3, platform overrides are
permitted, and regular Python options may follow. py -3
is the equivalent of the python3 command.
py exec
Equivalent to any of the above launch options, and the
requested runtime will be installed if needed.
py help [] Show help for Python installation manager commands
py install Download new Python runtimes, or pass --update to
update existing installs.
py list [] Show installed Python runtimes, optionally filtering by
.
py uninstall Remove one or more runtimes from your machine. Pass
--purge to clean up all runtimes and cached files.

You probably want to launch Windows Terminal and run the Python REPL using the py command.

Your window closed immediately after the "View online help? [y/N]" question because you had opened the installation manager configuration helper (equivalent to py install --configure) by running the installer manager executable.
