IDLE crashes when Ctrl+S is pressed multiple times

Bug description:

IDLE crashes when I press Ctrl+S multiple times in quick succession
After the crash, the file that was open may become partially or fully corrupted. This happens consistently and does not require any special settings or extensions. The problem occurs during normal editing and saving.

i am reporting this because the bug happens in my exams

I cannot reproduce this on Linux.

I failed to reproduce on up to date Win 10 with 3.14.0 or 3.15.0a1 or .0a2. File in editor was about 25 lines. I held Ctrl and hit S as fast as I reasonably could 10-20 times. Note that if a file is clean (no changes), the save handler should immediately return. My machine is a year old and fast enough that the dirty save likely completes before the 2nd hit of S. Thinking some more, I believe that the tk event handler only handles one event at a time. Which is to say, event handling blocks event handling, so that further events go in an event queue or get ignored. For instance, when the OpenModule dialog box is displayed and waiting for user input, other events are ignored. This is why event handlers should execute quickly unless user input is required.

Perhaps there is something special about your system or perhaps some relevant detail of what you did that you omitted. If there are no reproduction reports here in a few days, you could try posting to the help channel of discuss.python.org.

In the meanwhile, the sure fix is to not speed click.

I would like to reproduce the issue but it was on college machine and I have no rights to use it because it is only ment for exams

Could not reproduce on Windows 11 with 3.15.0a2 64 bits non-debug builds with and without GIL, using empty file, normal sized file, huge file, huge file with very long line.

Maybe it could be related to where or how the file is saved? Do you use network shares to save files on college, or maybe an unusual antivirus?

Yea, i think the device has only network storage
