Requesting a bot to assign issues

We’ve created a new project to track all ROCm-specific skipped UTs: PyTorch on ROCm - Skipped Tests
. However, we’re currently unable to assign issues within this project to other PyTorch contributors on our team.

During our engineering sync, @malfet mentioned that this is a limitation of the GitHub UI and that assignments may need to be done via the GitHub API. He also noted that there might already be a bot that can handle this.

Could you please let us know if such a bot exists? If not, is there a recommended way for us to request assignments via the bot? For example, something like: @pytorchbot assign <githubid>

Please feel free to make a change to the bot to add this functionality, it would probably be something similar to the command that adds labels,

I think we already have the action in pytorch that reacts to assigntome command or something
