Production Readyness

There are discussions on how to build these images and they are not considered stable. They are considered as NOT production ready.

What has to happen that this image can be considered as ready for production?

It would be great to have specific tasks (issues) to reach that goal. Possible options that I can think of are: tests, better docs and examples, official maintainers ...

It would be great to have an official stable image of QGIS.
@3nids could you elaborate what the current discussions are why this image is NOT considered ready for production?

There we discussion about producing the image by building it ourselves.

The other concern was raised by the PSC who wanted such disclaimer for the current status.

@3nids could you point me to any other relevant discussions, or could you tell me where I should ask to make this image "ready for production"?
