Detect saturation in power shift experiment #1379
Description
The present protocol for the punchout experiment has been improved to identify the resonance value for each amplitude.
However, while the 1D signal is being identified through non-trivial processing, the second part of the fit is quite poor: only the maximum and minimum value of the signal is being retained.
This leaves behind two possible issues:
- noise sensitivity, since a fluctuation can shift the max/min value
- missed saturation, since there is no validation of the chosen window, relying on the user to have chosen one which displays the full transition
Especially the second point is certainly relevant, since relying on user choices greatly reduces the chance of integrating it in automated process.
