Std. dev. assumes iid shots; incorrect for multiple shots per randomization

The standard deviation formula is correct for 1 shot per randomization, but becomes incorrect when using multiple shots per randomization since samples are not iid (shots share the same randomization). This underestimates uncertainty. Expected: update the formula for the multi-shot case.
