build fails with missing KHR/khrplatform.h

While adding Qt6 to an image for the RB3gen2 vision kit, the Qt build fails while looking for KHR/khrplatform.h. This file seems to have been removed from the scarthgap branch on March 18th 2025 in commit db5cc84 with the comment 'provide graphics headers from adreno'.

Is there a workaround for this, or am I missing something?

This file is normally expected to be provided by mesa (mesa-gl in this case), which might be already a dependency of Qt6, but in this case the header is now provided by qcom-adreno (with qcom-custom-bsp, downstream), so I guess you would need to also depend on qcom-adreno.

This is indeed not the desired behavior, as it should instead rely on the header provided by mesa and have adreno just be the virtual runtime provider of the driver, let me report this internally.

What you can try, as part of your own layer, is to mask meta-qcom-hwe/recipes-graphics/mesa/mesa-gl_%.bbappend and do the same change as done there, but for adreno, via a local bbappend, like:

recipes-graphics/adreno/qcom-adreno_%.bbappend

I'm trying a clean build with that.

Worked fine, just tensorflow-lite that failed to build (from qimsdk), but can be fixed by adding virtual/mesa to DEPENDS (via another bbappend).
