Units of DOS in arc_l.dat / arc_r.dat

could you clarify what units are used for the surface DOS values in the arc_l.dat / arc_r.dat files? Are they normalized intensities? If possible, could you provide a reference normalization (e.g., integrate over k yields a known quantity)?
