CKEditor 5 includes collaborative features; #1218 is for tracking that integration. Also, Observable seems to support collaboration? I never tried myself. |

Andrew Critch asked for a Google Docs version a while ago. My impression is that the Google API is not fun ton work with, but I could see this getting used a fair bit if it could work well. |

Live collaborative editing of squiggle estimates should eventually be supported.
Is there a way to augment hackmd? https://hackmd.io/
I can think of lots of reasons why markdown may outperform google docs, but google docs should also be explored.
Etherpad is open source (js) and supports plugins. https://etherpad.org/
Of these, I'm probably most excited about etherpad.
Obviously, performance bottlenecks will be extremely easy to run into.
