Chappie Ingestion Docker Image on ARM leads to startup warning

When I start an application with Chappie on my Mac M4, I get below warning in the log file.

2025-09-29 05:26:00,976 WARN [tc.ghc.io/.28.1] (build-24) The architecture 'amd64' for image 'ghcr.io/quarkusio/chappie-ingestion-quarkus:3.28.1' (ID sha256:693cecde7bc76b2e927067b2570131d47cd8635cd6f9975cd9365668666684fa) does not match the Docker server architecture 'arm64'. This will cause the container to execute much more slowly due to emulation and may lead to timeout failures.

@edeandrea did a fix for this and upcoming images should be better. Let's keep this open until a new Quarkus release it out so we can confirm

@myfear @edeandrea this should be fixed with the latest Quarkus (https://github.com/orgs/quarkusio/packages/container/chappie-ingestion-quarkus/540142078?tag=3.28.3)

How would I test that it works? Do I just update an app to Quarkus 3.28.3 and add the chappie extension?

when I tried to podman pull the image I got all kinds of database errors.

Can you try chappie extension 1.4.0 with Quarkus 3.28.3. You should not need to do any manual docker/podman pull
