What is the best approach for implement Distributed Tracing with Spring Cloud API Gateway and Quarkus?

I'm trying to implement an example of Distributed Tracing with Spring Cloud API Gateway and Microservices in Quarkus but I'm having some trouble figuring out the best way to do it.

Is it better working only on logs and connect Loki to Tempo for finding traces or should I send traces to Loki with OpenTelemetry?

Anyone that want help me to understand?
