Recommended protocol/pattern for connecting to ActiveMQ?

Given smallrye-messaging-jms is not currently packaged for quarkus, what is the current best way to integrate with ActiveMQ?

Obvious options:

• smallrye-reactive-messaging-amqp
• native JMS
• Camel Quarkus connector

Other than programming style, are there any gotchas that would make one of the above preferable? Or any other reasons to choose one over the other?

Also, are there plans to support smallrye-reactive-messaging-jms in Quarkus (specifically with the Artemis client?)
