Quarkus DEV mode problems with 3.2.4.Final?

I hope someone has some simple solution to this and can tell me I'm just doing something stupid. I'm not yet convinced this is a bug and not just my mistake which is why I'm posting here. Since updating to Quarkus 3.2.4 from v2, my team and I have all started having issues randomly with the app running in dev mode.

The application runs fine when compiled natively, so this leads me to believe its something to do with the dev mode classloader.

At first, the app ran fine for me in dev mode, but a day or so ago, it now fails when executing some code that converts an AWS SdkPublisher (reactive streams) to an Uni (flows) using the mutiny-zero-flows-adapters library. The stack trace below is all I get, so unfortunately doesn't tell me much. Anyone with some insights into quarkus innerworkings have any ideas?

Found this thread, which while a different issue, seems to have resulted in a similar issue. Does in fact seem like its a class loader issue, and given this doesn't happen when compiled natively, I suspect its limited to dev mode.

First, check that you are using consistent versions between the Quarkus BOM and the Quarkus Maven plugin. If so, try to come up with a reproducer and open an issue so that we can have a look. Thanks!

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately, plugin and BOM version are in sync. Would have loved for it to be something that simple.

Have a few things to take care of then I'll get started on a reproducer.

Yup np, sorry for the delay. I just opened #35569 with a reproducer. Seems to be limited to aws-crt http client.
