@Transactional and ConstraintViolationException

in Quarkus 3.7.3 using just hibernate-orm and resteasy-reactive when there is a ConstraintViolationException in a @transactional method the default seems to be to map to a 500 response with a io.quarkus.arc.ArcUndeclaredThrowableException: Error invoking subclass method", at the top of a stack trace - it would be nice if the first cause of this exception were the thing reported - is there a mechanism for doing this?
