Vert.x, mock consumer in dev mode

Hi,

I search but I don't find some documentation on this.
When we use Vert.x (in cluster mode) how to in dev mode ( quarkus dev ), create fake consumer which not end up in prod release.

Which is the best practice?

The goal is not in dev mode to connect Vert.x to a real cluster.

Need your experience :)
