How to center-align figure captions?

Note that figure captions are left aligned to accommodate longer caption text (which looks odd when center aligned).

I agree it looks odd! So, how do we center-align the caption text to match center-aligned figures?

Minimal example:

![I want this caption center-aligned.](images/my_image.png){width=80% fig-align="center"}

Closing. User error. fig-align="center" also aligns the caption.
