Bibliography by chapter

Description

Hi, I am creating a book project in Quarto. I see that I can only add end references. But, I would like the references to be per chapter. is this possible? Thank you.

Did you look at the other discussions about having multiple bibliographies?

Hello @mcanouil , when using https://github.com/pandoc-ext/section-bibliographies:

• If I set citeproc: false it generates it but I have no cross references or hyperlinks in the text references.

• If I set citeproc: true it does not generate bibliography by sections.

Hi @mcanouil Hi, I tried leaving citeproc active and creating a .bib file for each chapter, as it is here: https://github.com/PaideiaPublishingServices/Paideia-Editorial/tree/main/Editar%2C%20publicar%20y%20financiar%20ciencia%20en%20Am%C3%A9rica%20Latina/references

But when adding ::: {#refs} in each chapter, it only shows a bibliography, not in all chapters.

I want to use links to the citations and references by chapter.

Please avoid pinging at every post (this triggers heavy notification amongst other things). By default participants are notified of a new comment, so there is really no need.
Note that this extension is not maintain by the Quarto team.

Using spaces and commas in directory name is really not recommended (on any OS). You are playing with fire here.
Also, the current stable version of Quarto is 1.6.40 and you are using 1.5.56.

Thank you for your guidance @mcanouil . I have already updated and fixed the directory name.
If I use different .bib files, one for each chapter, should it work? https://github.com/PaideiaPublishingServices/Paideia-Editorial/tree/main/editar-publicar-financiar-ciencia-america-latina/references

And in each chapter YML call the specific file, for example: bibliography: references/index.bib
