When will the Typst dependency be upgraded? #11956

DescriptionQuarto currently ships with Typst 0.11., and it appears that the user cannot make Quarto use a locally installed version instead. Typst 0.12 includes considerable improvements over 0.11 and some breaking changes, such that valid Typst 0.12 code (in a custom extension) will fail in Quarto. Is there a timeline for upgrading the Typst dependency? |

Dependencies are updated at most once per release unless rare exceptions. |
