| This is unrelated to Quarto CLI. If you don't use the Time Machine or Git to version control your files, then there is nothing you can do. You really should use Git. If you don't know how or what it is, there are plenty of resources available online. |

Description
Hi!
I've written code and general information over multiple weeks in a quarto document and saved my progress along the way. I've opened the file today, all the content is gone. The file is still there, but everything I've written is gone. Does someone the reason for this? Also, is there a way to retrieve a previous version of that document?
I'm using a Mac Version 15.1.1 and R Studio Version 2024.09.0+375. I don't have the Mac time machine, therefore retrieving a previous version that way doesn't work.
Very grateful for tips! Cheers.
