Is there a way to include specific lines from .qmd using {{< include >}} ?

As stated in the title, I am wondering if I can include specific lines of a qmd file using {{< include >}}.

So is there another way to include chunks of documents besides include?

It highly depends on what "chunks" means.

There is also the embed shortcodes and several community based extensions you can look into.
You can also come up with your own solutions using either code cells computations or LUA filter.

I am not sure if it's the same answer, but is there a way to ignore the yml header of the included file? I don't want the yml header of the included file to supersede the setup in _quarto.yml

The yml header lines were the lines I was originally thinking of excluding. There might be a straightforward way to suppress the yml header of the included .qmd

As documented, the include shortcode is a plain and simple copy/paste.
So same answer as before.

You could also externalise the content and include it in two files with headers.
