I'm not sure if i've happened across a bug or a feature, but it's odd in any case...

When compiling to typst, with a chunk set to echo: false and eval: false with a label, quarto fails to render the document

It seems to be the combination of those three things (eval: false, echo:false, and a label). To me, this would imply that quarto should completely ignore the chunk, which it doesn't seem to be doing.

Switching the format to html works, but the table caption is still printed (instead of being ignored, as I would have expected...

Yes, removing the chunk entirely would resolve it, but it should work without that, no?

In normal circumstances, Quarto should never crash inside the Lua filters, so this is definitely a bug.
