Is there a way to use a version of Typst different from the one shipped with Quarto? #13573
-
DescriptionHi! I was wondering if it was possible to choose which version of Typst to use. For example, I want to try the next version of Typst (0.14), but I built it from source, so I'm not sure how to tell Quarto to use that one instead. Note that the cli typst compiler I compiled is in my PATH, so I think Quarto "could" use it instead if there was an option like "--use-default-cli" for example. Let me know if that's not clear! |

You might find your answer straight away! Especially when you asked a somewhat related question in the past. (tl;dr:
QUARTO_TYPST)Important
Using
QUARTO_TYPSTwith any Typst version other than the one embedded in Quarto CLI is unsupported. If you encounter issues with custom versions, the Quarto team won't be able to assist with troubleshooting.#12860
