Keep R code outputs like Jupyter Notebook

Quarto has a very nice interface in Rstudio.

I wonder if there is a way to keep the outputs like Jupyter Notebook?

Whenever I reopen my r project and the .qmd file, the old outputs are gone. Is it possible to let it stay? I know we can get html reports, but I hope to have the code editable while remaining the old results. I just wonder if it's possible to keep showing the old/previous outputs.
