To contribute to "show and tell" - we've recently rebuilt the openair book in Quarto.

openair is an R package built for air quality analysis and is used widely in academia and industry. The openair book doubles up as an overview of air quality science as well as a manual for the openair family of R packages.

Lots of nice examples of the use of Quarto for this sort of technical writing.
