It would be easier to name your Quardo document something-great.qmd and let Quarto do the work with a more simpler yaml.

  revealjs: default
  pdf: default
  latex: default

The output files will be created from the Quarto document name and the extension of the file will be the appropriate one based on the format.

Could you provide an example of the Quarto document you wish to have? i.e., I (and others) don't have the time to guess and write a document that might not even look like yours in order to help you.

We don't currently support setting the output name from the slug. We hear you about adding flexibility to output names, and hope to improve this in 2023.
