  1. Far as I know, yes.
  2. "reference" pages are for options. aside is not a YAML option. It's for layout and is documented in https://quarto.org/docs/authoring/article-layout.html#asides
  3. as for 2., "reference" pages are for options. aside is not an option. Also, references pages are not exhaustive, especially because other options are available through the engine, for example with knitr.
