How to modify a native command like text or > text in quarto pdf?

Header of my .qmd file

I have a very basic need in my pdf document - when using the commands :

text

I would like to style it like in github/stackoverflow. I currently have a config.tex file that I pass in the header of the document

\newcommand{\code}[1]{\colorbox{StackOgray}{\texttt{#1}}}

which allows me to create a similar \code{} command to style text...however, I would like to modify the native `` (which produces only a \texttt{text} and > commands. Is there a way to do it ?

Use keep-tex: true to get the full LaTeX code.
Look at the part you want to modify and how it is defined, then change the command.
Here this is pure LaTeX.

Merci Mickaël, j'avais justement jeté un oeil au fichier latex généré avant le pdf et il suffisait en fait de redéfinir la commande \texttt & l'environnement quote pour les modifer. Du coup :

\definecolor{StackOgray}{HTML}{e3e6e8}
\renewcommand{\texttt}[1]{\colorbox{StackOgray}{\ttfamily{#1}}}

va permettre de pesonnaliser les `` natifs.
