Motion control emulation not working

I downloaded this emulator so I could play Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time but I’m stuck on a part of mandatory motion controls which this emulator was supposedly supposed to fix with the D-Pad on my Bluetooth Xbox controller, yet it is not working. RPCS3 and the game itself doesn’t appear to be acknowledging this emulator. Yes it is set to act upon every window in the config

Unfortunately I don't know what the reason is, it's better to contact the RPCS3 developers, they can make any support at the level of their emulator

I got in contact and learned I was missing some steps left out of my initial instructions (attached here for anyone in the future with my same predicament

but after going through them I’ve run into a new problem. The game is reading Sixaxis motion now hooray, but Confusingly… not mine. The game now thinks the controller is permanently tilted upwards and my dpad is no closer to letting me control things.

I've found a workaround though it isn’t an ideal one… yes the game reads all motion control as stuck upwards, that is unless I hold the select button/back button/whatever Microsoft calls the button with the two squares in it. That gives me dpad control over motion as intended. Kinda have to weird claw grip to use it but unless I figure out how to fix my motion input requiring “back” to be held down, this is the solution I have to go with.

The gyroscope is not perfect yet, it is the best that has been invented so far.

You can also try an Android smartphone (if it has a gyroscope) and the FreePie app as one of the options.
