I faced the same on version: RabbitMQ 3.8.17 Erlang 23.3.4.2 The federation links disappear, re-creating them (the policies) shows the status again. Steps to reproduce:
If it could be of any help, I have also attached the logs from all (3) nodes. Logs: (I didn't want to create a separate issue for the same thing) |

Hello,
I created a federation with 2 cluster and federated queues
all working fine until I restart the downstream cluster, I have to update every policy to link show up again.
Here the upstream config
Name: Federation Project_1
URI: amqp://project_1_admin:[redacted]@mqproject_1
And the policy :
Name : Policy project_1
Pattern : ^project_1.
Apply to : queues
Definition : federation-upstream: Federation Project_1
Priority :10
