issue high cpu usage

can we only specifc traffic we want to sniff ? so maybe it will reduce cpu usage

for example i only want to sniff nginx traffic

You can provide a pcap filter with '-f', does that help?

nethogs -s -t -c 5 -v 2 2>/dev/null | grep nginx

cause i need bytes data
