Way to decrement from throttle after processing a request

I'm currently throttling requests by ip like the following:

Rack::Attack.throttle('request per ip', limit: 10, period: 60) do |request|
  request.ip
end

However sometimes depending on business logic, i don't want to count the request after processing it.

So i'm wondering is there a way to deduct from the throttle count of a given ip within a controller action?

Rough solution until supported:

  def decrement_attack(throttle_name, descriminator)
    last_epoch_time = Time.now.to_i
    period = Rack::Attack.configuration.throttles[throttle_name].period
    expires_in = (period - (last_epoch_time % period) + 1).to_i
    Rack::Attack.cache.store.decrement ['rack::attack', (last_epoch_time / period).to_i, throttle_name, descriminator].join(':'), 1, expires_in: expires_in
  end
