This caused _read_until_idle_windows to hang forever after reading initial output, since the idle-timeout check never got a chance to execute. Fix: use win32pipe.PeekNamedPipe() to check if data is available before calling read_nonblocking(). When the pipe has no data, the polling loop runs normally with idle-timeout detection.
