Not working on Jenkins Linux instance

When doing cert based auth on my local windows machine, I can connect to the QRS instance without issues, but when I do the same thing in a jenkins build, it gives a request timed out error.

Note:
I pinged the host from jenkins and I am getting the reply same as my local machine
I am storing the client.pem file in the git repo, and cloning it in the jenkins workspace and providing the path of it in the QRS call

Can you please let me know if you have any thoughts on how to fix this issue?

This worked for me on a linux machine:

f = open("client.pem", "r")
qrs=qsAPI.QRS(proxy=PROXY, certificate=f)

You must store client.pem AND client_key.pem togheter at same location. Both files are required to stablish connection.

certificate param is the string path to client.pem and expect client_key.pem at same location.
