Haptic audio doesn't work in new project

Haptic audio is working in the sample project, but cant get it to work in new project or my project.

when try to replicate the submix and sound class setup in a new project, and then choose them in the project settings , all sound stop working inside the project. and there is no haptic feed back in the controller

i noticed , even in the Audiosample project , the only sounds that are working are the music tracks inside ThirdPerson Folder.

all other sounds inside the project dont work

Hi, thanks for the report,

is the audio you're playing on the output path of the registered submix? If so, check if spatialization is enabled in the audio. I'm not sure, but it seems that Unreal only sends data to the submix listeners when the Attenuation option is active with spatialization.

haptic audio sample is working correctly,

in the new file all the (submix, sound class , sound wave parameter, attenuation , spatialization ) are copied from the working sample,
waht i suspect is that the music track in the audio sample are not normal Wave sounds.

did you prepare them in any special way before importing them to unreal ?

if possible, for a new project, can you give me step by step how to get haptic audio to work.
maybe there is a small step i missed when trying to copy the haptic audio sample

Sure, I still need to make a tutorial for that.
The audio files are normal .wave files... If you open any of these .wave files in the Unreal editor, check if the "send data to submix" option is enabled. This parameter within the audio file is one of the main ones.

I was able to get the controller to play every sound reliably with this setup, but it is playing them on the speaker instead of vibrating
