Contributor License Agreement (CLA)

OrionBelt Analytics

Thank you for your interest in contributing to the OrionBelt Analytics project, owned and maintained by RALFORION d.o.o. ("Company", "we", "us").

By submitting a Contribution (as defined below) to this project, you agree to the following terms:

Definitions

  • "Contribution" means any original work of authorship, including any modifications or additions to an existing work, that is intentionally submitted by you to this project for inclusion in the Licensed Work. This includes any code, documentation, or other material submitted via pull requests, issues, patches, emails, or any other mechanism.

  • "You" (or "Your") means the individual or legal entity making the Contribution.

Grant of Rights

  1. Copyright License. You hereby grant to the Company a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, no-charge, royalty-free, irrevocable copyright license to reproduce, prepare derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, sublicense, and distribute Your Contributions and any derivative works thereof, under any license terms the Company chooses, including but not limited to the Business Source License 1.1, Apache License 2.0, or any other open-source or proprietary license.

  2. Patent License. You hereby grant to the Company a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, no-charge, royalty-free, irrevocable patent license to make, have made, use, offer to sell, sell, import, and otherwise transfer Your Contributions, where such license applies only to those patent claims licensable by You that are necessarily infringed by Your Contributions alone or by combination of Your Contributions with the Licensed Work.

  3. Moral Rights. To the extent permitted by applicable law, You waive any moral rights in Your Contributions that would prevent the Company from exercising the rights granted above.

Representations

You represent that:

  1. You are the original author of each Contribution, or you have sufficient rights to grant the licenses above.

  2. Your Contribution is your original work and does not violate any third-party intellectual property rights, including patents, copyrights, trade secrets, or trademarks.

  3. You are legally entitled to grant the above licenses. If your employer has rights to intellectual property that you create, you represent that you have received permission to make Contributions on behalf of that employer, or that your employer has waived such rights for your Contributions to this project.

  4. You understand that the Company may relicense your Contribution under different license terms, including proprietary licenses, and that the Company is under no obligation to accept or include your Contribution.

No Obligation

You understand that the decision to include your Contribution in any product or service is entirely at the discretion of the Company. The Company is under no obligation to use, acknowledge, or compensate you for any Contribution.

How to Sign

By submitting a pull request or other Contribution to this project, you indicate your agreement to this CLA. For significant contributions, we may ask you to explicitly confirm your agreement.
