I think I'm right in thinking you've been working on OSX, it's probably worth me testing it on the Linux boot in Lewin to see if it can be expected to work on the eventual diamond Linux boot. Looking through the NXTCommand stuff earlier, got me a bit sceptical after I noticed it detects the operating system and uses a different bluetooth library for each of the 3 main O/S's.
However, this is low priority and if it doesn't work when tested, can be fiddled with at a later point.
