It should normally not take several weeks; the goal is to add it to the upgrade channel after 4-7 days (like on the Monday/Tuesday of the week following the release). I know for Rancher Desktop 1.21 this took quite a bit longer. This happened because the following week was a company-wide hackweek and enabling the update channel got kind of lost in the chaos. We enabled it as soon as we noticed. My apologies! |

Thank you @jandubois for the explanation! I was not considering this blue-green deployment scenario (which is stated quite clearly in the notes). Unluckily, it appears I just stumbled upon the exception (with 1.21), rather than the norm. 👍 |
