I've just installed metasploit from the apt repo. I'm running bullseye but I'm using the buster repo. package version is 6.2.29+20221129112715~1rapid7-1

running msfconsole for the first time:

I am using port 5433 so can I get metasploit to run on 5432 or 5434?

nvm. was able to do it with msfdb --db-port 5434 init then msfconsole

Try sudo msfdb init && msfxonsole -q

If not work try to Close 5433 port!
How? Search on google.com how closing ports in linux

I'm using 5433 so not about to close it. --db-port 5434 worked fine for me: #17318 (comment)
