[QST] Does it support Windows?

I tried #86 (comment) on Windows 10, but it is not working with version v25.08.00.
Does it support Windows now via pip install?
When I run the code on WSL2, it is slower than running it on native Ubuntu, but due to certain restrictions, I need to use this library on Windows.

We unfortunately have not had time yet to add a windows wheel for pip

No, I think it seems like it doesn't find the CUDA toolkit when building the wheel.

@Ian990466 I came across this today. The error you are seeing is related to the #75 (issue) with the backend. Following the guidance #86 (comment) I was able to get a working version of cucim.skimage with the following steps:

• Clone rapidsai/rapids-build-backend and edit impls.py, changing all "which" to "where"
• Clone cucim and modify the cucim/python/cucim/pyproject.toml backend to point to your local copy (i.e., requires = ["rapids-build-backend @ file:///Users/<username>/path/to/rapids-build-backend", ...])
• Edit the VERSION files in cucim/python/cucim to be the version number (e.g., 25.12.00) instead of ..\..\VERSION, as this string is misinterpreted to be "..-..-..-..-VERSION" which is invalid and prevents the build.
• In the cucim/python/cucim folder, run pip install . --no-build-isolation -v
• You may need to add a VERSION file like above to the cucim install location in your virtual environment
