With IMX477 on CAM DISP 0 and IMX219 on CAM DISP 1, pulling in #6798 corrupts IMX219 output

Describe the bug

With the following configuration:-

IMX477 camera on CAM DISP 0
IMX219 camera on CAM DISP 1

Both cameras output normally with rpicam-hello.

Pull in #6798 with sudo rpi-update pulls/6798 and make no changes to config.txt, ie still using autodetect.
IMX477 camera operates normally but IMX219 on CAM DISP 1 generates corrupted frames.

Tested with two different IMX219 cameras on CAM 1 and is repeatable.

Steps to reproduce the behaviour

IMX477 camera on CAM DISP 0
IMX219 camera on CAM DISP 1

Both cameras output normally with rpicam-hello.

Pull in #6798 with sudo rpi-update pulls/6798 and make no changes to config.txt, ie still using autodetect.

I've just tried this on a ToT build of the kernel running on a Pi 5 and cannot seem to reproduce this. I tried running cameras individually and concurrently. What kind corruption are you seeing?

The frames are broken up into ~19 blocky rows of 'interleaved' imagery with alternate rows or partial rows being magenta tinted.
This appears also with only the imx219 camera being displayed , i.e with the imx477 connected but not being displayed.

Just checked, and with the 477 disconnected the corruption from the 219 is still present.

Yup, just the rpicam-hello -t 0.

Just a couple of other observations.
Previous test with the 477 disconnected was with the FFC disconnected at the camera end and left 'floating' still connected to the 22pin Pi5 connector. A retest with the FFC fully disconnected showed no change, still corruption on the imx219 image.

And a reversion back to
Linux FlyTip 6.12.47+rpt-rpi-2712 #1 SMP PREEMPT Debian 1:6.12.47-1+rpt1 (2025-09-16) aarch64 GNU/Linux
with
sudo apt install --reinstall linux-image-rpi-v8 linux-image-rpi-2712 raspi-firmware
returns normal operation to the imx219 output.

Can you try with sudo rpi-update pulls/7107 which is what I'm running now?

There have been some recent changes to the binning mode and pixel-rate calculations for IMX219, but I thought it might only effect framerate and not the image output.

Pulled in 7107 which updated to 6.12.55-v8-16k+.
IMX219 is now functioning normally.
Also tested the enhanced link frequency on the imx477 at the same time and all seems good.
