Example that exactly builds Bookworm 64-bit Lite #130

Description

First time using this and I was hoping it could use the system I'm currently running on as the template rather than a fresh chroot build.

I essentially want something like examples/debstore - but instead of installing the packages, just leave them on disk in the image for scripts to install as part of a course Essentially offlining some large installs for low bandwidth and/or install source rate limiting.

However, with the chroot based build I do not have confidence that I can build exactly the same as Bookworm 64bit Lite with just these additional files and that is what all current course exercises are built on top of.

Is there either:

  • a configuration known to build exactly Bookworm 64bit Lite (but not have to use pi-gen instead of rpi-image-gen)
  • a way to use the current system I'm running on as the image template, but run generalize processes to back out specifics like host name

Thanks.
