Hi! I remember thinking about such a feature when I started with the project, but then probably forgot about it while struggling to figure out how to make single hits work properly in the first place :D I'm not sure how much benefit there will be for arcade training, since to my knowledge newer arcade versions treat the big notes like any other notes (no guarantee, I might be wrong here). But this could still be worthwhile to offer an alternative (and more fun) play style for the home versions. I can think of a few possible solutions right now:
I might experiment with this a bit in the next weeks, thanks for reminding me :) |

I am at the start of my journey with Taiko and I'm consuming info like crazy (:
So, in all highish level arcade play I've seen on youtube people are hitting big notes with one hand
People are doing a stronger hit or just ignore those notes
But on PC and Switch getting double hits on Big Notes nets you more points!
What do you think about emulating both sides hit with a single strong hit for platforms that don't accept analog inputs?
This will allow using home games as a training tool for arcade and be competitive in online play at the same time
Cheers!
